Harrogate

Harrogate located in North Yorkshire, England is a spa town. Yorkshire Dales National Park and Nidderdale AONB is located nearby. Harrogate spa water contains common salt, iron and sulphur. Great Yorkshire Showground and Pavilions of Harrogate are also located in this town, which are major destinations for the conference. Yorkshire tea which is exported by Taylors of Harrogate and internationally exported Harrogate Spring Water is also in Harrogate. Exports of this town Harrogate Blue Cheese, Farrah’s Toffee and Debbie & Andrews Harrogate sausages. Hub of the regional agricultural industry is The Great Yorkshire Showground which is hosted by Yorkshire Agricultural Society. Various business visitors at Harrogate live at large hotels and some built for visitors to Spa. The main shopping district of Harrogate is focused on Oxford Street, Beulah Street, Cambridge Street and James Street where many high street shops can be found. There is a broad range of designer and boutique shopping on Parliament Street, and in Montpellier quarter and around Commercial Street independent shopping centre is located. For eating in Harrogate, the town has well-served restaurants. Cheltenham Parade and Parliament Street have many restaurants, and there is also many chain restaurants on Albert Street and John Street. Harrogate is currently in the conservatives hand, and Andrew Jones is the local MP.
