Harrogate

Harrogate located in North Yorkshire, England is a spa town. Yorkshire Dales National Park and Nidderdale AONB is located nearby. Harrogate spa water contains common salt, iron and sulphur. Harrogate Railway Station and Harrogate Bus Station in the city centre flourish transport connections. At 10 miles south-west of Harrogate is Leeds Bradford International Airport located. Harrogate is connected to A1 and Wetherby by A661. Harrogate had a population of 71,594 according to 2001 UK census. 

Economy

Harrogate has a strong economy. The primary focus of this town's business is conference and exhibition industry with Harrogate International Centre which is the third largest fully integrated exhibition and conference centre in UK and largest in Europe. It contributes over Euro 150 million to the economy every year and attracts around 350,000 business visitors annually. Great Yorkshire Showground and Pavilions of Harrogate are also located in this town, which are major destinations for the conference. Yorkshire tea which is exported by Taylors of Harrogate and internationally exported Harrogate Spring Water is also in Harrogate. Exports of this town Harrogate Blue Cheese, Farrah’s Toffee and Debbie & Andrews Harrogate sausages. Hub of the regional agricultural industry is The Great Yorkshire Showground which is hosted by Yorkshire Agricultural Society. Various business visitors at Harrogate live at large hotels and some built for visitors to Spa. The main shopping district of Harrogate is focused on Oxford Street, Beulah Street, Cambridge Street and James Street where many high street shops can be found. There is a broad range of designer and boutique shopping on Parliament Street, and in Montpellier quarter and around Commercial Street independent shopping centre is located. For eating in Harrogate, the town has well-served restaurants. Cheltenham Parade and Parliament Street have many restaurants, and there is also many chain restaurants on Albert Street and John Street. Harrogate is currently in the conservatives hand, and Andrew Jones is the local MP.

What is ITIL®?

ITIL® (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) is a widely accepted approach to IT service management which helps businesses ensure their IT services are aligned with their needs and support their core processes. It provides numerous benefits such as controlled infrastructure services, improved decision making, financial management, clear organisational structure, high availability and better customer satisfaction.

Does the course include exams?

All our classroom ITIL® courses include exams as part of the course.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards including MasterCard, VISA and American Express. We also accept payment by cheque or wire transfer.

What time shall I arrive at the venue?

Please arrive at the venue for 08:45am.

What are the hours of the course?

Training hours are approximately 9am – 5pm.

What is the latest date that I can sign up for the class?

You can sign up for the course up until the day before class begins. However, we have limited seating capacity and many of our courses fill up well in advance. We therefore advise students to register at least a few weeks before the course begins.
