About Nottingham

Nottingham is a town in Nottinghamshire, England. Nottingham has relations to the fable of Robin Hood. It was decided its city contract in 1897 as part of Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee reveals. Nottingham is a travel destination in 2011.

The town also has a Lord Mayor who is designated by city councillors from among themselves. The position is ritual and has no official power or power. The City of Nottingham's limits are haggard and reject many conurbations. The western conurbations of Beeston, Stapleford and Eastwood, are managed by Broxtowe borough council. The Nottingham urban district ranges into Derbyshire where Ilkeston and Long Eaton are managed by Erewash Borough Congress. To the north, Hucknall is measured by Ashfield district council, while in the east Arnold and Carlton form part of the borough of Gedling.
