About Watford
Watford is a city in Hertfordshire, England. It is situated 27 km north-west of central London. This city is assisted by tourists of Berkhamsted Castle and the royal palace at Kings Langley. In the 16th century, a big house was constructed at Cassiobury. This city was before built near to The Grove. The linking of the Grand Junction Canal, London and Birmingham Railway helps to grow. This region is separated from Greater London by the parish of Watford. The Watford region Council has elected Mayor of Watford. Dorothy Thornhill has been elected as the mayor since May 2002. Watford also elected Member of Parliament (MP). This region was part of the three-seat constituency of Hertfordshire in 1885.
